Support for students
Dagmar and Václav Havel’s VIZE 97 Foundation is not only involved in support for the cultural, social and healthcare needs of the present. As the word VIZE in its name implies, the Foundation also looks to the future. And in doing so, it is also involved with education. One of the possible ways of supporting scholarship lies in the VIZE 97 Foundation’s long-term efforts to support the masters or post-graduate studies of students from Czech universities at respected universities throughout the world (for example in the USA, Canada, Japan, China, Austria, France, Sweden, Great Britain and Italy) and in various fields of study; architecture, art history, international relations, sociology, ecology, musical composition, physiology, documentary film making, humanitarian and development aid, etc..
