The Fund of Understanding
The VIZE 97 Foundation created the Fund of Understanding programme for all those citizens who are unable to get out of a difficult situation using their own resources, because they have a handicap of some kind, be it physical, mental or social. We find it very difficult to reconcile ourselves with the fact that there are always more people requiring help than our limited finances enable us to truly assist. Despite this, however, the VIZE 97 Foundation endeavours to provide help wherever it is most needed. We concern ourselves with applications from people with difficulties who do not have any money for essential healthcare items. We are also contacted by those who do not have money for treatment or by people who have found themselves in irresolvable social situations.
Various organisations which do not receive money for their worthy social and healthcare activities also contact us with applications. We pay special attention to the needs of senior citizens. We assist the Home of Saint Carlo Borromeo (Domov sv. Karla Boromejského) and the Home of the Holy Family (Domov sv. Rodiny) which care for the handicapped. We endeavour to support adults both financially and morally. The Fund of Understanding has a wide range of influence and it forms one of the essential pillars for the activities of the VIZE 97 Foundation alongside the various other programmes.
