{"id":16473,"date":"2020-06-12T11:54:07","date_gmt":"2020-06-12T10:54:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vize.cz\/en\/?page_id=16473"},"modified":"2023-10-17T09:47:27","modified_gmt":"2023-10-17T07:47:27","slug":"support-for-musically-talented-students","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.vize.cz\/en\/culture\/support-for-musically-talented-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Support for musically Talented Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Support for Musically Talented Students is a new project that loosely follows on from the Education Support project established by the Dagmar and V\u00e1clav Havel Foundation VIZE 97 in 1999. During its 15 years of existence that project of the VIZE 97 Foundation supported a total of 119 students, who received grants totalling 4,547,000 crowns. As part of the project the Foundation also awarded the \u201cRecognition for the Philosophy of Education and for the Renewal of University Ideas\u201d prize seven times<\/p>\n<p>The new project was initiated by the VIZE 97 Foundation in April 2019, when it set out the conditions for applications.<\/p>\n<p>The project is aimed solely at the cultural sphere and its goal is to support musically talented students from the ages of 14 to 26 who are socially disadvantaged and have permanent residence in the Czech Republic, and help them develop their talent.<\/p>\n<p>Assistance with the demanding task of assessing their talent and selecting the finalists was rendered by a long-term associate of the Foundation and former recipient of an education grant Mr Ond\u0159ej L\u00e9br, who is now a successful musician and music teacher and fosters interest in music among the younger generation.<br \/>Diplomas for the successful applicants were created by the renowned artist Ji\u0159\u00ed Plie\u0161tik, and they were formally presented to the students by Mrs Dagmar Havlov\u00e1 at a gathering attended by Mr Ond\u0159ej L\u00e9br and Dr Gerhardt Bubn\u00edk, whose sponsorship gift enabled the project to come into being.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Financial support in 2023<\/strong> in the total value of CZK 200,000 was awarded to six scholarship holders: exceptionally gifted guitarist Ad\u00e9la R\u00fat Kode\u0161ov\u00e1, violinist with great potential Kajet\u00e1n Kart\u00e1k, talented student of classical singing Anna Dost\u00e1lov\u00e1, excellent flute player Ad\u00e9la \u0160vomov\u00e1 and promising singers Lucie and Veronika Sokolovy .<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"P\u0159ed\u00e1n\u00ed \u0161eku stipendist\u016fm v kancel\u00e1\u0159i Nadace Dagmar a V\u00e1clava Havlov\u00fdch VIZE 97\" width=\"1230\" height=\"692\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/m3a_E1EPdYs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Student Support Timeline:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>YEAR 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2019, 7 applicants applied for the selection process and met the conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The VIZE 97 Foundation supported 3 students with a total amount of CZK 141,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>YEAR 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, 8 applicants applied and met the conditions for the selection process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The VIZE 97 Foundation supported 5 students with a total amount of CZK 170,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>YEAR 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2021, 13 applicants applied and met the conditions for the selection process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The VIZE 97 Foundation supported 5 students with a total amount of CZK 150,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>YEAR 2022-2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12 applicants applied for the selection process in 2022 and met the conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The VIZE 97 Foundation supported 6 students with a total amount of CZK 200,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a cross-cutting project concerning the social, cultural and educational fields.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Support for Musically Talented Students is a new project that loosely follows on from the Education Support project established by&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":25,"featured_media":0,"parent":13170,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-16473","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.7 -
