The Nurse of the Year 2006 award was officially presented at the \u017dof\u00edn Palace on 20th February 2007. The patron of the award presentation was Mrs Dagmar Havlov\u00e1, the Chairwoman of the Board of The Dagmar and V\u00e1clav Havel Foundation VIZE 97. Due to being in the United States, Mrs Havlov\u00e1 did not attend the event in person, but she pleased all of the guests in attendance with a recorded video greeting. The special award for life-long service in the field of nursing was presented by Mrs T\u00e1\u0148a Fischerov\u00e1, who stood in for Mrs Havlov\u00e1.<\/p>\n
