The traditional Saint Nicholas charity bazaar held by the Dagmar and V\u00e1clav Havel VIZE 97 Foundation will take place this year on the premises of the Prague Crossroads \u2013 the desecrated church of Saint Anne in the Old Town. The sixth annual charity bazaar will offer, among others, the possibility to purchase Christmas presents in advance while supporting a good cause, plus a whole scope of rare guests, a complimentary music programme, Saint Nicholas distribution of presents and the unique opportunity to see the Prague Crossroads, which is only rarely made accessible to the public.<\/p>\n
In addition to the hosting VIZE 97 Foundation, the Charter 77 Foundation \u2013 Barriers account, People in Need, the Goodwill, Mammahelp, the Home of St. Charles Boromeo, Helppes, the Czech Radio Foundation \u2013 \u201cFirefly\u201d, Tea Comfort.eu, the Sun for All Foundation Fund, the Holy Family Home and the DeBra CR Association, will all participate in the traditional charitable pre-Christmas event.<\/p>\n
The concept of organising the charity bazaar was initiated six years ago by the Chairwoman of the Administrative Body of the VIZE 97 Foundation Ms. Dagmar Havlov\u00e1. The main idea of this event is to provide Czech non-profit organisations the possibility to present their work \u201cunder one roof\u201d, and thereby support their mutual contact and cooperation. By purchasing any of the products, visitors not only receive a Christmas present, but also a good feeling from supporting the given organisation. Proceeds from sales of products will go to the VIZE 97 Foundation, to the collection account of the social project Fund of Understanding.<\/p>\n
The moderator of the entire afternoon for the first time this year will be the actress Kate\u0159ina Hrachovcov\u00e1 \u2013 Her\u010d\u00edkov\u00e1, who will be leading guests through the programme and familiarising them with each of the non-profit organisations, their activities and products they produce. Moreover, Ms. Dagmar Havlov\u00e1 will also participate in moderating the event. V\u00e1clav Havel has also traditionally promised to attend the event, furthermore Kate\u0159ina Bro\u017eov\u00e1, Jan Potm\u011b\u0161il, Aneta Langerov\u00e1 and a number of other celebrities. During the course of the afternoon, the vocal trio Makabara will perform, the scholarship recipient of the VIZE 97 Foundation \u2013 violinist Tereza P\u0159\u00edvratsk\u00e1, the open choir Cantina \u2013 the non-profit organisation project Voicecamp and the children\u2019s choir from Dob\u0159ichovice together with the Organ Orchestrovi\u010d Bauer. The bazaar will end after 4:00 PM with the distribution of Saint Nicholas\u2019 gifts together with carolling.<\/p>\n
