The Firefly (Sv\u011btlu\u0161ka) lit up Prague Crossroads for already the eighth time on Wednesday, November 14. Seeing as well as talented blind musicians performed on one stage to add light to the lantern from which the Firefly will light the way for the blind the whole year.<\/p>\n
The concert was broadcast live via the television screens of \u010cesk\u00e1 televize and the waves of Radio\u017eurn\u00e1l. The evening was moderated by the duo of Adela Ban\u00e1\u0161ov\u00e1 and Pavel Li\u0161ka, who ran to the concert from T\u00e1bor. Other celebrities who joined Aneta Langerov\u00e1 at Prague Crossroads to support the Firefly included V\u00e1clav Neck\u00e1\u0159, Tom\u00e1\u0161 Klus, Daniela Kol\u00e1\u0159ov\u00e1, Buty, Anna Pol\u00edvkov\u00e1, Tara Fuki, M\u00e1rdi, Vav\u0159inec Hrad\u00edlek, the K\u00fchn Children\u2019s Choir, the children from the Je\u017eek School and the following blind soloists: R\u00e1chel Skleni\u010dkov\u00e1, Luk\u00e1\u0161 Kakara, Adam Bla\u017eek, Nelinka Frankov\u00e1, K\u00e1ja L\u00edskovec and the S\u00e1ra and Kl\u00e1ra Hy\u00e1nkov\u00e1 twins. The evening also included reports by documentarist Olga \u0160p\u00e1tov\u00e1 from the DEN POTM\u011a (DAY IN THE DARK) documentary series with Iva Jan\u017eurov\u00e1, Daniela Kol\u00e1\u0159ov\u00e1, and Bolek Pol\u00edvka with Anna Pol\u00edvkov\u00e1, during which they tried what it\u2019s like to live one day without one of the most important human senses, eyesight.<\/p>\n
This was the fifth time that the benefit concert, which is partnered by the VIZE 97 Foundation, took place at Prague Crossroads. The concert\u2019s proceeds go to the \u010cesk\u00fd rozhlas Foundation Fund. \u2028\u2028<\/p>\n
