Forum 2000 opened at Prague Crossroads
The ceremonial opening of the Forum 2000 conference, held under the auspices of President Václav Havel, took place in the evening of Sunday, 7 October, in the preemies of Prague Crossroads. The conference itself, with the topic “Freedom and Responsibility” will last for three days.
The guests invited include Madeleine Albright, former U.S. Secretary of State; Christiane Amanpour, CNN’s chief international correspondent; Mike Moore, former Prime Minister of New Zealand and former Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO); Jacques Rupnik, French political scientist; or Shirin Ebadi, human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner.
