The Light for the Firefly at the Prague Crossroads
On Wednesday, 10 November 2010, the Light for the Firefly was lit for the sixth time at the Prague Crossroads. The evening was hosted by an unusual pair of moderators – Vojtěch Dyk and Viktor Preiss. Hana Maciuchová, Marta Kubišová, Katarína Knechtová, Tonya Graves, a talented sightless musician Martin Svátek together with his band Madfinger, The Kühn Children’s Choir and others performed during the evening. Aneta Langerová, sightless children and four famous call operators lead by Iva Janžurová could not be missing. The highlight of the evening was a breathtaking version of the legendary song about “Bell people” from Bohuslav Ondráček, Zdeněk Rytíř and of course Marta Kubišová. Light for the Firefly in Prague Crossroads was broadcasted live by Czech Television and Czech Radio 1 -Radiožurnál.
