The opening of the Spanish EU Presidency at the Prague Crossroads

On 12th January 2010, the Spanish Embassy hosted a classical music concert in cooperation with the VIZE 97 Foundation at the Prague Crossroads centre upon the occasion of the opening of the Spanish Presidency of the European Union. The event’s guests included Jan Fischer (the Prime Minister of the government of the Czech Republic), Václav Riedlbauch (the Minister of Culture), Jakub Šebesta (the Minister of Agriculture) and Senator Luděk Sefzig (the Chairman of the Committee for European Union Affairs). The concert included the work Oracion del Torero by the Spanish composer Joaquín Turina and String Quartet no. 2 by the Czech composer, Leoš Janáček.
