The “Recognition” was Ceremonially Awarded to Prof. RNDr. PhDr. Zdeněk Neubauer, CSc.
The Board of the Education Programme decided to award this year’s “Recognition for the Philosophy of Education and for the Renewal of University Ideas” to distinguished Czech scientist and philosopher, Prof. RNDr. PhDr. Zdeněk Neubauer, CSc. The laureate ceremonially received a diploma and symbolically also CZK 97,000 from the Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees, Mrs. Dagmar Havlová, and President Václav Havel. The laudation on the laureate was presented by Prof. Jan Sokol, Ph.D., Csc. In 2001, Professor Neubauer also received the Prize of the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VIZE 97.
