The reconstruction of the windows at the Prague Crossroads
A lot of restoration work is still underway at the Prague Crossroads and work has now started on the demanding reconstruction of the church windows thanks to the support of THE WORLD MONUMENTS FUND.
The windows in the building’s main nave will be reconstructed within the framework of the project. The reconstruction will include new precise measuring of the windows, the disassembly of the old stained glass windows and their subsequent reassembly. The actual reconstruction work has, of course, been preceded by detailed restoration research.
All of the construction and restoration work is being realised by experienced and renowned specialists with the appropriate work and specialist permits (including a licence from the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic).
The expert work is, of course, realised in accordance with the instructions of the heritage bodies and institutions.
