The takings from the “Pavel Nedvěd Cup 2007” golf tournament were donated to the VIZE 97 Foundation
The footballer Pavel Nedvěd held a golf tournament with his friends at the Františkovy Lázně Golf Club and he dedicated the takings from this event at the value of 200,000 CZK to Dagmar and Václav Havel’s VIZE 97 Foundation. The cheque was received from Pavel Nedvěd in person by the Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees, Mrs Dagmar Havlová. The tournament was attended by well-known footballers such as Jan Koller, Karel Poborský or Vladimír Šmicer.
The funds will be used to support the applications for assistance received from ill or handicapped citizens and from people who find themselves in difficult social situations.
