The traditional handover of guide dogs at the “Helppes Super-Day”
As is now traditional, Mrs Dagmar Havlová, the patron and an honorary member of the Helppes organisation, attended the so-called Super-Day, at which she presented two canine assistants to their new owners. Both dogs have been financially supported by the VIZE 97 Foundation during this year. Netty, a golden retriever bitch, went to 6-year-old heavily handicapped Klárka Suchá, while 16-year-old Petra received the black Labrador Akyra. Mrs Havlová also christened a two-month puppy at the Super-Day which will be trained to provide assistance services. The Helppes patron chose the name Stella from a list of suggested name.
