Heart for Václav Havel at the Castle Grafenstein

The sculpture “Heart for Václav Havel”, created by artists Lukáš Gavlovský and Roman Švejda has moved to castle Grafenstein (Grabštejn) where it will be on display in the cellars of the castle until the end of August. The ceremonial opening took place at the castle on Thursday, 19 July. The sculpture itself should be an expression of the relationship of citizens to the person and philosophy of President Václav Havel. Many people became co-creators of the work by contributing to the process of its making – from collecting candles, through processing the wax to the installation itself. Thus an open heart was formed, into which everyone can enter and which is vulnerable like all hearts.

Admission is free. For more information on: http://www.hrad-grabstejn.cz/.
