The footbridge across Chotek Street

The pedestrian footbridge linking the Letná and Chotek Gardens was opened in June 1998. The elegant design by architect Bořek Šípek – a steel structure with a lightweight central section – forms a kind of entrance gate to Prague Castle. The plaque at the foot of the bridge states that Václav Havel had this footbridge built using sponsorship and private funds.
