One World 2009 Festival
People in Need and the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VIZE 97 would like to invite the fans of “One World,” the International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, to the 11th year of this event. The festival is again held under the auspices of President Václav Havel, and also of Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg, Culture Minister Václav Jehlička, Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Alexandr Vondra and Prague Mayor Pavel Bém. The Festival begins on 11 March 2009 in Prague Crossroads. The Homo Homini award will be presented during the evening ceremony. The festival will take place in Prague by 19 March 2009, and continue in thirty other towns of the Czech Republic in March and April.
